VICIdial Caller ID Spoofing

WHY VICIdial + SpoofGlobal?

VICIdial is the most popular open-source call center dialer. Combined with SpoofGlobal's SIP trunking, you get full control over outbound caller ID for every campaign and every call. Display local numbers, toll-free numbers, or any number that improves answer rates.

TRUNK SETUP

VICIdial uses Asterisk under the hood. Add SpoofGlobal as a SIP trunk in your VICIdial server:

1. SSH into your VICIdial server
2. Edit /etc/asterisk/sip.conf (or use the VICIdial carrier configuration)
3. Add SpoofGlobal's server as a peer trunk
4. For IP2IP: no credentials needed — just set host to SpoofGlobal's server IP and enable IP2IP mode in the bot
5. For SIP auth: add your SIP username and password
6. Reload Asterisk: asterisk -rx 'sip reload'

CARRIER CONFIGURATION IN VICIdial

1. Go to Admin > Carriers
2. Add a new carrier pointing to the SpoofGlobal trunk
3. Set the dial prefix and dial pattern for your outbound calls
4. Set the carrier as active

SETTING CALLER ID PER CAMPAIGN

In VICIdial's campaign settings:

• Set Campaign CID to the number you want to display
• Enable Use Custom CID if you want per-list or per-lead caller IDs
• For local presence, set up multiple caller IDs matching the area codes of your leads

LOCAL PRESENCE DIALING

To maximize answer rates, match the caller ID area code to the lead's area code. VICIdial supports this through custom CID lists. Upload a list of local numbers for each area code, and VICIdial will automatically select the matching caller ID for each call.

MONITORING

Monitor call quality and connectivity through VICIdial's real-time reports. Check the carrier reports to ensure calls are connecting through the SpoofGlobal trunk. Balance and usage can be tracked in the Telegram bot.
