Linphone Setup Guide

WHY LINPHONE?

Linphone is a free, open-source SIP client available on every major platform — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux. It's well-maintained, supports modern codecs, and offers a clean interface. For users who want a free cross-platform option, Linphone is an excellent choice.

DOWNLOAD

• iOS: App Store (free)
• Android: Google Play (free)
• Desktop: linphone.org (Windows, Mac, Linux — all free)

CONFIGURE YOUR ACCOUNT

1. Open Linphone
2. Skip the Linphone account creation — tap Use SIP Account
3. Enter your SpoofGlobal credentials:
   • Username: your SIP username
   • Password: your SIP password
   • Domain: server IP from the bot
   • Transport: UDP
4. Save — the status should show "Connected" or "Registered"

MAKING CALLS

1. Set your desired caller ID in the SpoofGlobal bot
2. In Linphone, enter the destination number
3. Tap Call
4. Your spoofed caller ID appears on the recipient's phone

TROUBLESHOOTING

• If Linphone shows "Registration failed", double-check your username, password, and server IP
• Make sure transport is set to UDP (not TCP or TLS)
• On mobile, enable "Keep alive" in network settings to maintain registration in the background
• If audio is one-way, check your NAT settings or try enabling STUN
